Due to a reduction in granting funds, we are unable to accept any grant applications for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
familiesforward supports community groups that provide parent-child programming in our area. We financially support projects that strengthen our guiding principles: learning and literacy; nutrition and physical health; positive parenting; and community capacity building. All funded projects must comply with our current funding guidelines. The maximum funding for any project remains at $5,000.00.
Examples of funded programs include:
- Family drop-in programs
- Activities promoting learning, literacy, nutrition and healthy living at school open houses, family events and BBQ’s
- Workshops for parents
