Where: 525 Wardlaw Ave (Crescent Fort Rouge United Church near Nassau St N)
There are stairs to access this venue. Please enter up the stairs off Wardlaw Ave. There is street parking only (a loading zone is available right in front of the doors). Once inside the doors, we are downstairs. We recommend indoor shoes for this location.
** There is no program on statuary holidays (Lois Riel Day etc).
*kids@play is not linked to any religious organization. Our play groups aim to be inclusive and welcoming of all peoples.
Our outdoor program is currently on hold but we hope to gather soon. The program is FREE but Registration is required! Call us at 204-791-0956 or email us email@example.com to register. Spaces are very limited.
There will be two groups each Tuesday morning:
The program will take place at Harrow Park (Harrow St between Fleet and Garwood). See the map below. Look for our staff in the bright green scarves! There is street parking around the park.
The program will look quite different as we follow all public health guidelines. The entire program will be outside. Physically distancing is required between families and our staff will also be physically distancing themselves from each other and from families. We will have strategies set up to assist families to keep their distance. We cannot offer food or water or bathrooms to our participants. We will have hand sanitizer on site. We will be planning activities that require no sharing of materials during program: some materials will come back to us for sanitation (hula hoops, pool noodles, crayons, scissors). Many other materials will go home with the family. We will take precautions during preparation of any materials given out during program, including planning in advance so the normally the bags with materials are created and set aside for at least four days before they are used in program as well as frequent hand washing.
